Hy2gen is committed to developing the Courant project in a spirit of openness, transparency and dialogue with the community.
PAST ACTIVITIES
The initial stakeholder meetings started in 2022 and continued throughout 2023 and 2024 to foster open dialogue and respond to stakeholders' concerns and suggestions:
· Meeting with the Innu Council of Pessamit
· Meeting with municipal representatives
· Meetings with economic stakeholders
· Meeting with environmental and sustainable development organizations
· Meetings with community and citizen groups
· Meetings with employment sector stakeholders
· Meetings with education and innovation sector stakeholders
· Meetings with expert third parties
RECENT ACTIVITIES
· The formation of a Courant project advisory committee composed of various community members recognized for their diverse expertise and perspectives.
UPCOMING ACTIVITIES
Over the next few months, various initiatives will be launched to strengthen community engagement, including:
· The establishment of a liaison and information office in Baie-Comeau
· The opening of a dedicated phone line
· Public information sessions and meetings of the Courant project advisory committee, when new concrete details can be presented to the community.
